“I've been surfing alot in the ocean and never tried the wavepool before but liked the sound of being to work on specific techniques and combine video analysis with lots of waves so signed up. I was a little anxious about catching waves to start with but saw massive improvement nearly immediately and ended up catching all the waves I paddled for and even moved on to some backhand surfing on the left. “I had the best time with my son surfing at the Hodi.tv wavepool camp at Lost Shore. I'm very early on in my surfing but keen to improve and surf with my son. I started off not being able to catch waves on my own, missing most of the waves, and not popping up at the top of the wave. By the end of the wavepool camp I could paddle, pop up and ride down the waves on my own. Stoked! My son and I both thought the input from Craig McLachlan, the 5 x Scottish Surfing champion, the video analysis, coaching reference videos were incredible. The combination of the tools and high level coaching input made the difference.”
